Terms of Service
Welcome to SaveTik. By accessing the website or installing the extension you agree to these terms.
1. The service
SaveTik provides a Chrome extension that helps you save TikTok videos you're already watching to your local device. The video bytes are downloaded by your browser directly from TikTok; SaveTik servers do not transfer or transcode video content.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
- Accounts are created via Google OAuth using a real Google account you own
- Don't share accounts; don't use SaveTik to bulk-download for others
3. Subscription and billing
- Pro is $4.99/month, billed by Stripe
- Subscriptions auto-renew. Cancel anytime in Account → Manage subscription
- After cancellation you keep access until the end of the current period
- Prices may change with at least 30 days notice via email
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Download copyrighted content without permission from the rights holder
- Re-distribute downloaded videos commercially
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the SaveTik API for bulk automation
- Use the service for illegal, harassing, or fraudulent purposes
You are solely responsible for the content you choose to download. SaveTik is a tool and is not responsible for user behavior.
5. Content rights
TikTok videos remain the property of their original creators. Downloaded videos are for personal viewing only. Re-uploading, derivative works, or commercial use require permission from the rights holder.
6. Service availability
We don't guarantee 100% uptime. When TikTok changes its frontend or anti-bot measures, the extension may temporarily break. We'll fix it as soon as we can but don't commit to specific timelines.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaveTik is not liable for:
- Copyright disputes arising from your downloads
- Failed or corrupted downloads
- Extension breakage caused by TikTok platform changes
- Third-party service outages (Google / Stripe / Cloudflare)
8. Termination
Violations of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund. We also reserve the right to discontinue the service at any time with 30 days notice; unused subscription time will be refunded pro rata.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email. Continued use after notice means you accept the new terms.
